This fountain was purchased from a convent in Tuscany by my maternal great-grandfather at the turn of the 20th century. He acquired it for the family home he was building just outside of Rome. The fountain is still on the same land where he put it, and it has been in family pictures since that time. We have several different generations pictured in front of it.
